We are aware that many of our players are going to be trying out for various men's high school volleyball teams in February 2024, and to help prepare them, we are offering a one-day prep clinic.  This will be an indoor event.

This event is aimed at athletes planning on trying out for local Men's high school teams for the 2024 season, including (but not limited to):

• Amador Valley HS

• California HS

• Dublin HS

• Dougherty Valley HS

• El Cerrito HS

• Foothill HS

• Granada HS

• Monte Vista HS

• San Ramon Valley HS

In this clinic, we'll be doing the following:

• Simulating a tryout environment

• Reviewing how HS coaches make decisions about choosing players and their positions

• Helping players navigate how to best interact with their coaches

• Identifying how to alter preconceived notions coaches may already have about players

• Working through position/play/service drills

• Conducting full-on scrimmages

• Helping players identify what positions might be suggested to them and why, and offering position-specific feedback

This clinic will be a mix of about drills/scrimmage and discussion, so players should be prepared to play by showing up at 745 AM so we can get them checked in and they can be ready to hit the court at 8AM!  For this event, we're capping the head count, and registration is first-come, first served, so please make sure you register ASAP.
