There are three competition groups for this program (roughly divided by age), the Youth Training group, the Youth Competition group, and the Adult Competition group.  Goals and scheduling are somewhat  different for each group, so please read carefully.

Youth Training group - ages 9-14

This is a developmental competition group, and it will focus on teaching new players basic skills, which will eventually propel them into our Competition group. Each student will gain a solid grasp of the basic skills in a drill type setting. Extra attention will be given to learning the importance of ball control as well as developing an athletic attitude.

Youth Competition group - ages 12-17

This is an advanced competition group designed to help boys and girls advance their game in a continuously changing landscape. Players will be immersed in drills, coaching, instruction and competition in an outdoor format, leading to rapid skill development and improvement. By emphasizing the fundamentals of competitive volleyball, participants can expect immediate improvement in ball control, court awareness, shot selection, footwork, jump serving and their competitive edge.  This group is aimed at ALL positions - players looking to take their game to the next level, whether it is making their first high school roster or dominating at varsity level, are the ideal participants for this program.

Adult Competition group - ages 18-80

Not for the faint of heart, this is an advanced competition group designed to help adults advance their game. While this is in an outdoor environment, this program is designed to augment your game in both the indoor and outdoor context.  At this time, we are not positioned to coach beginning players who simply want to learn volleyball.  This is aimed at the experienced player with a basic mastery of the game and the rules who can serve, pass, set, and hit with confidence.  We do not pay any attention to height, weight, or age, but all participants are expected to have a "can-do" attitude, and are expected to serve as a good attitude example to the younger players who may be watching.  These players will be immersed in drills, coaching, instruction and competition in an outdoor format, leading to rapid skill development and improvement. Again, THIS IS NOT FOR THE PICNIC PLAYER, this is for the player who is looking to improve in an accelerated format.  By emphasizing the fundamentals of competitive volleyball, participants can expect immediate improvement in ball control, court awareness, shot selection, footwork, jump serving and their competitive edge.  This group is aimed at ALL positions - players looking to take their game to the next level are the ideal participants for this program.
